INDIVIDUAL ALERT AND LOCATION DEVICE
DIAL comes in the form of a waterproof GPS beacon connected to GSM/GPRS mobile networks. It is inserted into a comfortable and highly resistant silicone bracelet designed by Philippe Starck.
DIAL allows its holder to be located during the practice of his nautical activity and to send an alert in case of difficulty. Thanks to the multi-operator SIM card included in the beacon (which can be used in 32 countries in Europe and in the French overseas departments), DIAL operates autonomously (no need for a nearby phone to transmit data). The SIM card works with an annual subscription of 29 € including tax for unlimited use (the first year is included when you buy the device).
DIAL is directly connected to the mobile application "DIAL by SNSM" which allows your family and friends to be reassured during your sea trips. You can register up to three reference persons to follow your activities. The application will enable them to locate you and, if an alert is triggered, to share essential information with the emergency services.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
DIAL informs about its condition by means of a vibrating motor. On the button :
To trigger an alert
Press for 3 seconds
until you feel discontinuous vibrations,
then release to trigger an alert (bracelet on).
Make a long press until you feel a continuous vibration for :

- turn on your beacon if it's off,
- turn off your beacon if it is on and out of alert mode.
